4 Engineered and proven to give your engine maximum air ow for more

4 One-piece aluminum backing plate features our patented hidden
breather technology, each breather is o-ringed at the heads and exits ENGINE & EXHAUST
at the mouth of the throttle body eliminating the need for any external
hoses or hardware for ef cient engine breathing
4 Each backing plate contains a smooth radius air inlet to direct
unobstructed air ow into the engine
4 Stage 1 kits accept factory and/or Ness air cleaner covers for the
exposed look. Kits speci cally designed to accept factory air cleaner 77
cover only found on pg. 82
4 Performance air lters are available in standard pre-oiled cotton &
synthetic lter elements
4 Standard performance lters are constructed from red pre-oiled cotton
and are washable/re-useable, lter re-charge kits available separately
4 Synthetic performance lters are constructed from black synthetic lter CHROME
element that is wrapped in a stainless steel jacket. Synthetic lters are
washable/re-usable, do not require oil and are water resistant which in
most cases eliminates the need for a rain sock
4 Backing plates available in standard, black or chrome nish
4 Each Stage 1 kit includes one-piece aluminum backing plate,
performance lter, gaskets, and necessary hardware

4 The all new Big Sucker™ Stage 1 air cleaner for Milwaukee-Eight™
engines adds new & improved features to our original industry leading
intake
4 In addition to our patented hidden breather backing plate technology,
we have added an outer lip which wraps around the lter base
resulting in a clean look while better securing and protecting the lter
4 Smooth radius air inlet for unobstructed air ow
4 The new aluminum lter top plate has integrated lter mounting studs
for increased durability while eliminating the need for additional lter
mounting hardware and a steel lter plate
4 High performance lters are made from black pre-oiled cotton for the
best in air ow and ltration. Filter are washable and re-usable; lter
re-charge kits are available separately
4 Designed to accept Ness custom covers for exposed look & factory
air cleaner covers if noted, kits for M8 touring models speci cally
designed for factory cover are found on page 82
4 Backing plates available in standard, black or chrome nish
